The Foundation also has a newly equipped specialist children's sensory room. This environment helps develop sensory and motor skills for physically disabled/special needs children. It additionally encourages children who are carers, non-communicative or frightened children to relax and interact with others.  "The Disability Foundation is fantastic because they support all disabled people, their families and carers, and help them live an independent life, says Katie. "Their centre offers both conventional and complementary treatments and therapies, which I believe in. They also, have a specialist children's sensory room, which is so important, this really helps develop sensory and motor skills for physically disabled/special needs children and has been wonderful for Harvey".
